EasyRotator promises that users “beautiful, responsive photo rotators and sliders to your WordPress site in seconds,” but it actually takes a bit of setting up. First you’ve got to install Flash software to create your slides – or rotators – on your local machine, which I admit I found annoying. Then you can create a new rotator from within the page or post editor. You can also use shortcode to insert a rotator in your site, or add a rotator to your theme using a function call.
After going to the trouble of installing the Flash program, it didn’t work when I tried to set up a basic slider from the Post Editor. After a bit of digging around, I discovered this plugin doesn’t work with Safari/Chrome.

Soliloquy is one of the more well-known sliders out there and for good reason – it’s simple to set up, you don’t need to download flash software to create and upload sliders or mess around with the settings. It just works.
After you’ve added your images, select your slider size, slider speed and hit “publish.” Then you’ll need to copy the resulting shortcode onto any page or post where you want the slider displayed.
While this is a lite version, it still comes with enough features to make it worth trying out.

Responsive Slider is a very simple slider plugin, which comes with few settings but makes up for it in easy of use.
Adding new slides is a snap and you can place them anywhere in your site with a shortcode, or into your theme with a function call.

This plugin is for single sliders only, so if you want to set up multiple sliders on your site you should check out a different plugin.

I am passionate blogger cum B.Tech. Computer engineering graduate. I love writing blog post. I spend my free time in writing blog post that will useful to everyone (including me). I have had some success making money blogging and want to help others do the same. I just figured that by creating a great and free resource a lot of links would follow – and they have. Some people ask me how they can repay me – which is not necessary - but for those wanting to show their appreciation, I just say linking to the article from their blog is the best compensation I could receive. Thanks for reading!
